Leila Philip has published four books. Her awards include a Guggenheim, a Pen Literary Award, and fellowships from The National Endowment for the Arts and The National Endowment for the Humanities. In addition to publishing essays and poems, Philip has written theatrical works for off-broadway and co-founded the ongoing art collaboration, Water Rising. She writes regularly for The Boston Globe where she is a contributing columnist. She is a professor at the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester.
