Robin Hemley has published twelve books. His awards include a Guggenheim, three Pushcart Prizes and residencies at The Bellagio Arts Center and many others.  He founded NonfictioNOW in 2005 and he served as Director of the Nonfiction Writing Program at The University of Iowa for nine years.  Along with Xu Xi, he is under contract with Bloomsbury for a writing text: THE ART AND CRAFT OF STORIES FROM ASIA: A WRITER’S GUIDE AND ANTHOLOGY.
